My Vampire Hunting Nord

Race: Nord/Werewolf
Primary Skills: One-handed, Archery, Heavy Armour
Secondary Skills: Enchanting, Smithing, Restoration

Born to parents who had left Skyrim many years ago to earn their fortune within the Tamriel capital province of Cyrodiil, Bradley was finally at the ripe but still rather young age to leave home and set his foot in the world. His parents had always told him stories of the Nord homeland from whence they came and, when rumours spread of a vampire plague spreading across Skyrim and the reformation of the Dawnguard, Bradley could hardly resist a visit to his true homeland. But, upon his arrival, Skyrim's problems became apparent as he was caught in the middle of an Imperial ambush upon the Stormcloak rebels. Escaping from Helgen thanks to a timely return of the ancient dragons, he went onto Riverwood and Whiterun where he earned some coin, helped the Jarl and discover his destiny...he was Dragonborn.

Although summoned by the Greybeards themselves, Bradley decided they would have to wait and he set out for Windhelm. Not only had his near-death experience at the execution block fuelled a new-found hatred for the Empire, but the countless problems which plagued Skyrim from vampires to dragons had proved to him that they were not worthy of ruling the nation of Skyrim. He signed up for the Stormcloak army and, whilst awaiting orders, set out to the Dawnguard where he was gratefully accepted into their ranks. Now, using his forged and magically enchanted blades, heavy battle armour and the powers of life itself, he fights the vampires and his foes to hopefully return his homeland to the former glory his parents had spoken of so many years ago.

So, what do you think of my vampire hunter? I'm looking to now finish the Companions quests (in order to gain an immunity to vampirism), before completing the Dawnguard and Stormcloak quests too. I might then finish of the main quest line for the first time too, but I mainly then want to start with my first-ever stealth oriented character. A vampire assassin who utilises daggers and conjuration to silently deal with his enemies and, for when things get out of hand, has his vampire lord form to annihilate foes in his wake. Any recommendations for this stealth character regarding skills, race, and backstory are all welcome.

I've actually used this thread as an inspiration for my Vampire Hunter. He's also a Nord with a similar skill set, preferring to use a Crossbow and then switching to his Sword/Axe and Shield, with Restoration and a slight bit of Alchemy to keep up his health reserves.

He despises Vampires to the bone as they killed his younger Brother whilst the two of them were escaping an attack on their home village. After watching his brother's body being svcked dry by the beasts, he attempted to flee South to Cyrodiil, but was caught by a scouting group of Imperials and faced execution.

After he escapes in the confusion of the Dragon attack, he wanders for a bit and ends up joining the Dawnguard in hope to avenge his brother's death. However, after finding out that the Dawnguard are not strong enough for his task; and after falling in love with the beautiful Vampiress Serana, he makes the tough decision to ask for her help to become a Vampire Lord, in an attempt to harness the beasts' power and use it against the ones who murdered his brother in cold blood.

My first RP and I think it's going pretty well. :)

Make one-handed a secondary skill and bump restoration up to primary.

You don't need two combat skills as primary so choose to concentrate on archery and you will get a lot more utility out of restoration (healing and offensive spells against undead).

Just my two cents!
