we all love skyrim no matter what platform you play it on so why cant we all get dlc at the same time i feel bad as an xbox user that my fellow skyrim lovers on the ps3 arent geting the same experience as i am with the fun DLC's and stuff. i just think it would be awesome for us all to be able to play the same thing at the same time. (ALSO) it would be cool if skyrim had multiplayer (i know it wont work) but im just sayin it would be awesome (specialy if it went cross system and all playforns could play together >.> )just a thought...oh AND FREKIN khajiit CHILDREN!!! they would be so cute

The PS3 is to the 360, what the Mac is to the PC.

That's basically the entire problem. The 360 is easier to port games to, since it's more or less a simplified PC. And since all games are basically made on a PC first, it's easier on the developers.

Like the Mac, the PS3 is an alien device that's difficult to work with and understand.

Don't worry, the contract is over. The next DLC will be massive and open for PC and 360 at the same time (probably) and maybe the PS3 will get Dawnguard by then.

It would be nice if we could all get along but as long as there are people crying and complaining to Bethesda about their DLC I doubt it. I agree with the both of you though.

Exclusivity deal, this is the last DLC that is exclusive for xbox.

Do you have proof of this? I have been looking for an official statement but there isn't one. I dont think MS is dumb enough to let HF slip by as the second exclusive, I highly doubt that they will count it. I really couldn't care, im on xbox but I think the more the merrier. Also I believe that once the exclusives are done that we are finally going to get a big DLC, thats why im looking for the official say.

I don't have a link, but sometime before Skyrim was released it was announced that the 1st 2 DLC's would arrive on the Xbox first.

We do all get along until someone comes along to point out the differences and declare their system is the "best evah" or to rub salt in wounds or to ask such questions is "can't we all just get along".

We don't allow platform/console bashing and while it does occur, we also warn for it whenever we see it and those warnings come with a suspension time from the forum.

We see it like this, we are all playing the same game. Some of the DLC isn't out for PS:3 or PC yet but when it is, they will also be playing the same dlcs. We are here to discuss the games, not what you play it on. We can do that all together without ever mentioning what we play on or bashing another's choice in the matter.

So, that said...not only is this off topic for this section, it leaves us with the question, Have you seen bickering about platforms/consoles that you have not reported to a moderator? If so, report it. If not what was the basis of this thread.
