Your houses!

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 9:00 pm

So,wich wings will you build in each house?and why?

My falkreath house will have the bedroom, the kitchen and the storage and will be my main family house (the childrens complain for the cold weather in the pale and for the "scary monsters" in the swamps of hjalmarch, while they're fine at Lakeview manor.

The pale will hold my "Dovahkiin at work " house and will have the tophy room, the armory and the enchanters tower. It will be the dovahkiin's base of operations.(forging weapons, enchanting them). The house also has a nice scenic view on whiterun and the troath of the world.I think it suits well the tipical Dovahkiin style.

The house in hnjalmarch will be the place were my character practice alchemy (fish hatchery, greenhnouse and alchemist tower),and relaxes reading some books when he's not busy saving the world or raising his family.

Edit :sorry for bad english...never really studied hard at school lol. spaghetti and pizza dumb dude here =)

1. falkreth - Lakeview house I chose the alchemy Lab, for ingredient mixing for potions. The Greenhouse for planting rare ingredients. and the Armory for my display of armors and weapons. I call this My War-house.

2. Morthal - Windstad Manor I chose Bedroom s you know for the kids. The Kitchen for the cool new items to cook. Also another alchemy tower just cause I love having a tower attached to my home. This is my Family's home.

3 Dawnstar- Heljarchen Hall I Chose The Library for my large book collection. The enchanters tower , basically gives the house a cool look. The Trophy room , for trophies duh. I call this place my Man Cave.

I have all of the other options outside and in the celler for all homes. I decided not to choose the storage room for any home cause there is more than enough storage in the other wings without it.

I would go for the library and trophy room. Perhaps the enchanted tower as well. I doubt the library can even contain all my books as I've seen it on YouTube already. But still I will try and see.
I like your idea of houses with specific functions though.

Man, I got to get going on my house. I've been crazy busy because all my classes just started this week and I've only just begun the foundation for the Main Hall part of my house. :( Why does it have to take so long gathering materials.

Well, from what I saw on YouTube the cellar will still be the cellar is it not that giant wine you can add... vates, if that's the correct English word from where you can tab mead. Don't know if this is infinite or that you once in a while need to stock the ingredients (weed, maybe), but the idea appeals to me, was it not that my character doesn't even need mead. I mean: it just restores a little bit of stamina, right? Vegetable soup is better.

My mage is planning on just having one home - a manor in the Pale. Bedrooms, alchemy tower and a kitchen, she's thinking. Although that kitchen could well be a library instead.

Hjarchen hall with Entry Hall, Main Hall, Kitchen, Alchemy Tower and Enchanters tower. I was going to go for the library but then I realised the two towers had lots of bookcases. I didn't get the armoury, I don't have 8 armour sets worth putting there. Just as I was about to move my Orc Battle-Mage to Windhelm I found out about building land. The best timing for HF to come out for me.

It is just a little alcove, if you are a vampire your house will have a coffin there.

Careful about lakeview being a family home, for me dragons spawn constantly there.

Hjaalmarch - My main house. Enchanter's Tower, Trophy Room and Armory.
Falkreath - More "wizardly" area. Greenhouse, Alchemy Tower and Library.
The Pale - More "residential" area. Bedroom, Storage Room and Kitchen.

Well the Kitchen does add an oven and a more kitchen-like area then the main hall. The armory adds 5 mannequins, 2 shield racks, 2 weapon racks, quite a few display cases, a workbench and a grindstone, and an outdoor porch area.

i added everything in the basemant and theres only 2 small mead barrels not the big barrels like in honigbrew meadery...they both only carry nord mead and cant be changed but possibly respawn/refill after awhile
