My sister is a huge wood elf fan and sadly has now began to play Skyrim on the PC with her new xbox controller... She wants the wood elves (the only race she ever plays as) to be even shorter than they are now. Instead of 0.98 for males and 1.00 for females to 0.90 to 0.92.


I'm somewhat familiar with the CK, but I've never tried to change something this big before. (or small, depending on how you look at things). The know-how for how to do this, with a step-by-step guide would be brilliant. Or, if someone could create a mod out of this and post it on nexus I'd be more than happy to download it from there


Also, if I'm to do this myself with your guidance, I have a question:
Will first-person mode (swinging swords, position of arms etc etc etc) be affected by the change in a negative way? If so, what would need to be done to change that?

I think this could be as simple as changing the Height on the NPCs Actor Form.

Here are some rough steps:
Find the npc race in the object window
Open it up so you see the Actor dialog form
The first tab is Traits - change the Height

I think the animations would be fine, as they *seem* to be for my animal (I too changed its height.)

Object window, all.
Search word: woodelf
Opened the ""oodElfRace" (which has the picture of a red half-face and a colorless other face, just above the vampire woodelf race).
There, I'm in the second 'area' called "Body Data"

In there, I can see the height of the race for males: 0,9800


I'm guessing changing that value will change all wood elves?
