TRAITS TAB- Different NPC weight does not seem to appear in-

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 3:17 pm

I am trying to make some of the characters in-game more muscular. I changed the weight to 100 and when I play the game, it did not appear to work as the characters look freaking skinny. I did several ways to figure this out with no avail. I did ctrl+f4 also. The only way I could fix this is by doing it in consol "setnpcweight" and then "disable" and "enable" or by playing a new game. However, I do not want to do this method...is there another way?

It should work. Does the weight change appear in the full body preview window when you change the numbers? If so it should change ingame. And Ctrl+F4 shouldn't affect this, that is just for the head. The body should work and look correct with very little effort.

Yeah it changes in the full body preview. It only seem to work if I start a new game. Unfortunately it does not work when I do a old saved game.

Are you loading a save that the mod was already active in? If you saved with the mod already active then it's a dirty save and can cause issues. Make sure when testing the mod to use a clean save. Alternatively, there is also a new feature called 'hot loading' which allows you to see changed to your plugin. (See the pinned thread, http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1385562-creation-kit-feature-hot-loading-plugins/)

However if your save is already dirty, then it may not work. Always test using a clean save; one where the mod wasn't active or present when you saved it.

Yeah I tried to do a save game which it didn't even have any mods in it. Its a old save when the game first came out.
