Just Bought Dawnguard

Not big on vampires or werewolves, however the prospect of destroying them seems cool enough. However, I'm more interested in other aspects of the add-on.

How are the new weapons? Is there a new housing option, and if so is it better than what we already have? How are the new spells?

I dont need in depth answers (don't wanna incite spoilers) but a brief explanation would be cool while I wait for it to download.

Dragon bone weapons, although maybe not as visually impressive as daedric, do amazing damage and the inclusion of craftable arrows just makes it! I never personally used the crossbows as they were low lvl for my character, but I can see how they would be a fun weapon with remarkable damage and tbh the sound they make when firing one, orgismic! No additional housing options im sad to say except for the fact you can ultimately own a faction's headquarters and upgrade it as you would the dark brotherhood sanctuary.

*non spoiler* the new spells are beast

*SPOILER* the new spells as a vampire lord are very powerful, visually remarkable and fit into the gameplay very well IMO. Life drain is essential however not the only mehod to surviving a fight. The skill trees for vamps and werewolf, although not very grabbing, do add an extra element to an otherwise very expansive game. The melee with both vamp and werewolf is fun at first but can become tedious after a while, but the short quests in Dawnguard accompany this thankfully.

Have fun its a great add-on
