Best place for mineing ore : V

i think the best place to mine IRON ore is in the "Halted Stream Camp" north of Whiterun.. If anyone knows a better place let me know.

Sorry i must have been really tired when i did this up i forgot to mention Iron ore is what im looking for

theres that mine in kynesgrove just south of windhelm. it has a bunch of malachite ore, even some sitting right outside the entrance

Mining for what? The most iron is in Left Hand mine. Conundrum is at Dark Water Crossing.... other than that, it depends.

Halted Steam Mine has plenty iron ore veins and you find the Transmute spell there.

Yes it does. But, to me, the "best" place doesn't include having to fight your way in. YMMV

The best ebony mine is Gloombound south of Windhelm. I got 48 Ebony ore and 10ish iron which got me 24 ingots of Ebony and 10 iron. Considering one ingot of ebony costs about 300 septims.

Mining what exactly?

The single best mining spot in the entire game is Kolskeggr Mine but it has Gold Ore which you may not be wanting. Contains around 50 Gold Ores and 2 Gold Ingots.
