How do I get the sky to follow actual time

I have a cave where you can look out through a hole at the sky. I finally figured out how to turn the sky on (edit cell - lighting tab - check show sky) but it will only show night sky for the whole 24 hour period. Is there a simple fix?

It depends on what sky you select. If you select something like 'WeatherFallForest' then it will change with the 24 hour day cycle. Some special skies are always night or always day (or some certain time) so pick one that matches. I just pick the one that matches my interiors setting. If it's in a pine forest, I pick 'WeatherPineForest' and it looks good and matches. Do the same for the lights emittance so that the lights change color with the time of day and you're set to go.

OK, I had it set to "WeatherWhitrun" After looking at it, it's not night time outside, it's both day and night. In Game - I can see clouds with blue sky and stars with the aurora in the background. And the clouds are not moving. In Editor- If I turn on menu option view - sky in the editor it looks correct. Day is day and night is night. I changed it with the little slider. Also the clouds are moving there. I must be missing something. I'm REALLY new at this. Thanks for your help.

Edit: Well I fixed it. I COC'ed a new character into the cell and it worked just fine then. Days are days, nights are nights and moving clouds. Thanks again for your help everyone.
