Preview window grey screen

Im fairly new to the CK, trying to teach myself at the moment but whenever i try to preview anything i just get a blank screen.

any help?

Do you use ENB? If you do, then you'll have to temporarily rename the d3d9.dll file added by ENB in \steamapps\common\skyrim when you want to use CK.

ahhhhh is that the problem.

okay so i just rename the d3d9.dll and then change it back when im finished using the ck?

i have d3d9.dll and d3d9_smaa.dll

do i have to rename them both?

This is great, I've been bugged by the preview window showing 3 screens instead of one: the normal one with two smaller ones above with stretched previews blocking the normal one. Thanks a lot, it fixes my problem!
