I just tried to get him to become steward, it didn't work for me.

Why would you force him to be your steward? He dreams of adventure, not to be holed up in a house for the rest of his life, in servitude to someone who is never home, the only excitement being the occasional Skeever attack!

If he’s the steward of the Falkreath property, plenty of adventure will show up on the doorstep.

Nobody will hire him anyways. Besides, if you make him your steward he can come with you on your adventures (if I have understood it right)

Yep. He's my first and only Stewart. No problems at all.
