There's this guy I met at dawnstar and when i talked to him, he said he could take me to solitude and some other city that i forgot and castle volkihar.... Im just wondering if this has always been in the game or is it just being added in Dawnguard??

Yeah i noticed this after dawnguard was installed. Its a neat little feature. He is in solitude, dawnstar and windhelm.

I just met him the other day after a Vampire Master and his Thrall attacked Dawnstar.He's new in the DLC.I don't like doing fast travel unless its part of the built in infrastructure,like wagons,and some of the backwater cities needed some sort of fast travel conveyance..Not just pop up the map and appear somewhere else.Hopefully all the secondary cities have some sort of transport available now.

It's lame.. only three places, I only find it nice for when I walk to dawngaurd I can use the ferry to windhelm and take the cart to a new city (not fast traveling).

Well there are only three actual ports in the game ( I don't count Riften because I'd like to see a boat try and go up those massive waterfalls into the Rift) so what did you expect?

For trade along the Treva river, Lake Honrich and Lake Geir. Doesn't mean you can travel by boat to the Sea of Ghosts from Riften.

To not waste efforts with a type of travel most will not even notice?

And ps, I'd like to see those small long boats navigate Ice sheets

That's a rather terrible attitude, especially when TES is a series that is supposed to go into detail, I love that they're trying to add different ways of travel instead of "oh just click on the magical map"
