Hello, I don't have DG yet but i have a few questions about the VL form and i'm trying to avoid any and all spoilers.

So yeah:

• Can i cast regular spells while in VL?
  
• What are the base powers of a VL?
  
• Are there differences between female and male VL?

Drain Life, Raise Dead, and Claw Attacks. You can unlock more VL powers by unlocking the perk tree.

3. Are there differences between female and male VL?

Yes there is a difference between female and male vampire lord models namely t it s.

The base abilities aren't great but the powers you can unlock are a lot better

great.

I have another question regarding vampires in general:
Do the daily powers like Calm and Raise Zombie get affected by perks put into Illusion and conjuration?
What I mean is, if I have Dark Souls perk unlocked (extra 100 HP to reanimated undead) would that perk apply to the daily vampire power of undead revival?

I also have 2 questions about Dawnguard, no spoilers please,

1) When you are VL do vampires in the vanilla game still attack you? For example: The vampire that is near Morthal.

2) Also do friendly vampires like Babette from the Dark Brotherhood, recognize you as one of her own?
