Intergration

I am really enjoying Dawnguard. I started a new build about a month ago specifically to prepare for Dawnguard, a dark elf conjurer/illusionist. I didn't download dawnguard straight away, i waited for my char to be "ready".

What impresses me the most about this DLC is how it is so nicely intergrated into the main game. I feel no rush to complete all DG quests systematically, i am happily picking my quests as i see fit. The game feels so much more weighty now and more varied. I NEVER fast travel and due to new locations i am being spread around the map like a big dollop of butter, experiecing all that lovely mountainous bread (?).

DG is not without it's faults but why mention them again. Beth has been extremely responsive in fixing bugs.

I can't wait to get home and continue playing.

Well done Beth, and fairplay to everyone who purchased DG. It is a triumph!

It does integrate well into the game especially the simple things such as arrow crafting and dragonbone weapons.
A good slice of it is perfectly fit in and the rest fits the tone.
