First off I have all the perks but this was happening even before that. The problem is sometimes when I go VL the vampiric drain ball spell thing does good damage, incinerate level so 90 odd damage. Then at other times it does badly enough to kill a Mudcrab, 3 shots to kill a mudcrab on adept difficulty. Then the claws, sometimes they do high damage, sometimes they do low damage. Does anyone know anything about this glitch, really annoying.

Did you have Serana following you when the damage was low? She reduces the damage by a lot... it's a bug.

Urgh, I have Marcurio now and it is fine. At the moment. Thanks for the help, I think that must be it then, I will still test more.
