Do you really need kids to keep pets?

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 12:10 am

I′m currently playing on the PC and I want the Dawnguard Huskys as permament pets, but I don't want [censored] kids playing around with my toys >:(
Is it true that you can't keep dogs as companions without children? If so, is there any other way to keep em?

I think so I tried to keep Meeko without kids and couldn't even after I built the animal pen. Really lame, it's a great little DLC and I enjoy the adoption mechanic but part of me feels like my housing DLC got slightly hijacked by the Sims.

Yup, they should have made adopting the dogs a player's choice, not a random adopted-kid event.

You can't have everything. Certainly not for $5.
