How do you like...(minor spoiler)

Auriel's bow? I'm an archer and I kind of hate it. I thought it would have a much better effect than sun damage and triple undead damage. Not to mention you get such few shots before the charge runs out.

Triple Undead Damage?
Considering how many Draugr you encounter in the game, how is that not useful?

What magic school do the enchantment use? (If any), considering that leveling up the magic school makes the charges last much much longer.

that's the thing. i have no idea. i assume destruction because of sun damage?

if that's the case, i'm really disappointed. auriel's bow was amazing in morrowind. now it's just a fairly weak, unique-looking bow?

It's actually very powerful. While outside, shoot the sun with the blessed arrows and the cursed arrows; both are dramatically different but quite amazing effects.

Do what I do, stack up soul gems because thats pretty much what you have to do for most enchanted weapons.

the dragonbone bow's base damage still blows auriel's bow away. i just don't know why it's so weak.

Well, if im not mistaken, dragon weapons has more damage then every other weapon ingame. Deadric artifacts or special items, dragon weapons beats them all in base damage (and deadric weapons did before dawnguard).

but this one isn't even strong. it's on par with a basic elven bow.

i'm just disappointed. just like Serana said: "not as shiny as i thought it would be"

I want to know this as well, I have tried using both fortify restoration and destruction enchanted jewelery but both had no effect

That's because it was a bow made to fit the Lore, it is from an elven god so naturally it is similar to the elven bow but has otherworldly enchantments. If you were a good archer then it really shouldn't matter what kind of bow you use. I use auriels still and have no problem how weak it is ( it isn't weak at all )

Armour Enchantments are far more effective than weapon smithing.

I'm not mad on it. I tried using it for a while but I kept going back to the crossbow.
