I have a bug where Sanguine appeared in my house and now ref

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 6:28 pm

So apparently Sanguine himself has made a guest appearance in my own home and in the name of all things sacred I can't even get him to leave. Not only that, but when he first appeared he put my wife and adopted kids in a perpetuated state of terror and all they do is run around nonstop, so now I can't even interact with them. All he does is sit calmy in the main hall and attacking him is out of the question since his invulnerable to everything. ....FFFUUUUU

Oh, that's not a bug. That's just how Sanguine is.

(Kidding. No idea what the issue is. But you've got to admit, it's very in-character.)

I'm assuming you've already completed "A Night to Remember." Have you tried returning to Morvunskar to see if he'll respawn there?

That worked, he now disappeared from my house.

Which house was this? I make special trips to Morvunskar just to drink with him and would love for him to stop by my place in return.

Daedric princes are known trespassers. They like breaking and entering for cheap thrills.

Well given Sanguine's rep, if you *don't* leave them alone, it could veer into a whole weird area there...

That sounds like a really cool bug, along with the Mai'q bug. Is this included in Hearthfire? random visitors?

Lakeside Manor (Falkreath). I don't even know how it happens. From what I've heard after completing the "night to remember" quest, there's a glitch where after many ingame months, he has a chance to spawn within Morvunskr and when you revisit the place he wanders around fighting all of the respawned bandits.

So first Mai'iq, now Sanguine... What's next, Sheogorath?

Why do cool bugs always happen to EVERYONE ELSE? :ermm:

Well I had a bug where I did Sanguine's quest until following him to the grove, but instead of giving me the staff he just disappeared leaving me stuck there without any other option but to reload a previous save.

At least now I know where he went...

Sanguine decides to stop by, chill, drink whine, and give your wife & kids friendly company... and you have a problem with that?

It is pretty cool as bugs go. Did you get any pictures? Should have got him to sign something.

That would be... quite the party! I suggest Elsewyr Fondue: something for everyone in that. (Ale for Sanguine, Moon Sugar for Mai'iq, and CHEESE!)

From a loading screen "among Daedric princes, Sanguine is the most liekly to take an interest in mortal affairs".

You got yourself such an importan guest at home and you complain? :D

...and if he wasn't there for you, maybe your ingame wife has something very nasty she keeps hidden from you ;)

Here's a creepy thought. Maybe get him, Maiq, Cicero as a follower, and you. You could play bridge!
