So first time I played with my newly adopted little Runa, I told her we'd play hide and go seek. She told me not to peek while she went and hid, which of course I peeked. How could I not? I can't close my eyes! So she became it. Being the Arch-Mage at the College of Winterhold, I immediately casted invisibility spell and ran away giggling to myself and my obvious advantage.

It took me a few games of it to realize that this doesn't really help. Even with the sneak icon saying I'm hidden, the clever little brat can still find me. But I definitely have been enjoying this DLC. I can't wait to see what else they give us.

Sometimes I'll run away while they're counting and, even though they don't get close to me, it'll just randomly say that I'm it.

Little brats cheatin'.

Every time I play one of these game, I've always sit on the top of my house so no-one can talk to me.

oh and tag and hide and seek arent new to hearthfire, a couple of kids played with you before this if you talk to them

Whiterun and Solitude kids come to mind.

No, it's not new. But it's definitely more involving playing those games with your adopted children as opposed to random kids on the streets of Whiterun and Solitude. At least for me personally.

Tag and whirlwind sprint. Good times.

Played tag with kids in Solitude, never hide an seek.
And using magic is not cheating, its part of the game world, this encourage kids to study it.

cant wait to get this on pc, lol, i'll just use my Recall spell when it's my turn to hide! Flash in at the nearest town where i set it at and begin questing "HA! Find me now!"

If they can find you while you're invivible, I'd say they're cheating, too. And if both sides are cheating, it's not cheating, merely redefining the rules.

Well, yesterday I did'nt have the heart to refuse my daughter a game of hide and seek and I accidentally found the ultimate way to cheat. LOL Usually I have a quest marker on, but I pretty much have everything done with that character so nothing was turned on. So when I gained the miscelanous objective to "find" my daughter it added itself to the misc quest, with a marker to boot. So both my kids had a quest marker over their head LOL Now try to hide Runa LOL
