Dawnguard vs kotn

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 12:29 am

so I was checking my storeage and noticed that kotn size was was only 190 mb while dawngaurd was over 500 mb. so it seems like dawngaurd really does add alot more than kotn. but it did not feel like the differnce was that much. but I guess for the most part dawnguard added more stuff but the questline was fairly close to the same.

Probably because there is more about Dawnguard than one questline...

yea it just seemd like I saw people a while pack complaining about its legth or not calling it a true expansion cause it did not add as much area as SI. but in terms of general content I feel like it added more stuff than shivering isles(not as much new are not even close or quests)
but it just help me realise just how much dawnguard really did add.

They do add two gigantic fortresses, a new horse, new versions of armor and weapons, two new perk trees, a new form, a plane of oblivion and a Snow elf Sanctuary.

I liked DG's Castlevania feel and the Volkihar questline. That said, I feel KotN had better story, pacing, and was better integrated in the main game.

on no.

Not another one of these thread...... :snoring:

Knights of Nine is nothing like Dawnguard. Dawnguard is unique.

Dawnguard is better IMO than Knights of the Nine. The storyline and setting are better IMO

I'd say its more akin to Bloodmoon.

I'd actually say Tribunal.

Tribunal: New Areas (not one big landmass), One Main Quest, and Side Quests
Bloodmoon: New Landmass, One Main Quest and a Faction Quest Line, and other Side Quests

If you compare KoTN to Dawnguard, you're gonna have a bad time.

Bloodmoon: New Landmass, One Main Quest and a Faction Quest Line, and other Side Quests

DLC wise, i think bloodmoon and tribunal are unbeatable

Dawnguard adds to Skyrim's world, not just a questline. Locations, equipment, spells, enemies, etc
