Broke Games

I've played a lot of games both good and some bad and last night I sent one to hell. Like I said last night I was playing Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter for the 360, now I've already complained how bad this game was one time but last night I found out just HOW bad it really was. I was near the end of the game (maybe one or two levels left) and in this mission there's these two tanks and the only support you get is your Ghost Squad minus a anti-tank squad member and an Alied Tank that picks and chooses when to show up. I think it was a glitch but damn it was one of those game breaking glitches cause sometimes it shows up on the same screen when your characters are there and sometimes it shows up stuck in an allay. You need this tank in order to take out the other two tanks that are pressent but sometimes the damn thing kills itself and your left trying to fight these two tanks but none of your weapons (even granade launchers) do any damage and what makes this mission a kick in the balls is that the mission before it you had the only member that can take out a tank and there wasn't any heavy vehicals in the level that requiered the need of a anti-tank gunnner (this is the person you need to take out the tanks).

So basicly the level was a dead end for me I couldn't get my tank support to aid me, my squad members keep following me when I told them not to, thus they end up getting injured and need saving so I beat the game the only way I knew how----by smashing the game disk with a metal bat. Before said smashing the disk itself was ok so the glitch couldn't have been that (oh and every time I died on the level and restarted the damn stage, the game froze up too grrrr) so basicly Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter on the 360 in total svcks. The controls are okay but can be sluggish sometimes, the AI of your teammates are about as smart as a sea sponge and now I find a glitch in game that basicly broke it (figueritvely and literly) all in all I hated the gameplay but love the story to it but that glitch----I won't be buying this game anytime soon again.

So---any of you guys ran into games that had game breaking glitches in them?

I had to borrow 2 CDs from 2 different friends in order to get through some specific parts in Final Fantasy X due to the CDs being [censored] up.

That's as far as broken games go for me. :P

My Xbox 360 ate my Oblivion disc. It gouged a deep scratch into it, which for some reason caused the game to freeze any time I looked in the direction of an Argonian. I could play it fine otherwise. Unfortunately I was deep into the Mehrunes Razor DLC, and that place is littered with Argonian slaves.

So after a good long break I switched to PC. Over time I got accustomed to so many mods, it didn't feel right to play with less than 300. That led to game-breaking crashes around 100-150 hours for three different characters.

Well another game I have that can be consitered broken is Wizards & Warriors for Win 95. You can get it to play on Win 7 by switching the compatibilty around (one reason why I love Win 7) but the game has so many bugs in it that even if you got every patch for it so the game can play decently it's just a matter of time before the PC chosses not to read the disk anymore. To bad really it had everything it need to be an epic RPG but if you don't check for bug during production all you end up with is a broke game .
