Im about to apoint one, but can i change him later on?

here's what I'd do:

1. appoint the steward

2. fire the steward

3. save this a test game and then

4. reload this test save to see if you can reappoint a different one

The only way you can fire your steward is fatally, as in killing them, after that, yes you are free to hire another one. It would be better to make the right choice the first time.

Is there a thread around here that has a list of best stewards on this forum somewhere? This info would be very useful.

We have a list of all possible stewards, they all do the exact same thing as steward, so who you choose is a personal choice.

There was a topic about changing the steward on PAGE 2, for crying out loud. Did you really need to start a new one?

Fired my steward with a simple flame spell followed by a beheading swing of my falmer sword to his neck.

Marcurio I think he called himself. Darn annoying he was.

Blood in blood out, as they say.

My new steward is much better. Polite and easier on the eyes.
