My slightly dramatic email to Bethesda today

Hi Bethesda,

I've been a loyal fan of your series since my friends first convinced me to upgrade my PC and get Morrowind long ago.

I got all the expansions, beat (almost) all of the quests.

I did the same for Fallout 3, overjoyed that you breathed new life into a series I played when I was little.

And I loved Oblivion, every single mod and expansion, every single DLC and bit of humor, sorrow and triumph in the game.

I got Skyrim the day it was released and I've been a vampire, a werewolf, a stormcloak, a loyal imperial soldier, a Nightingale and every other thing under the sun you could think of.

And then I saw Dawnguard was coming out. It looked amazing. I put some cash aside for when it came out. Then I saw it had a 30 day exclusive with Microsoft. Ok I thought, no big deal.

And then I saw today's twitter update. 'We have no plans or timeframe for releasing Dawnguard on any other platform".

That's when I got sad. I've grown up with you, Bethesda. I've devoured every single book in every game, been an Argonian to an Altmer. I even got the Horse Armor, heh.

I love your games, I love your series.

But I can't give you my loyalty or my money anymore.

I'm sorry. I've withdrawn my pre-order on TES Online and Dishonored.

Goodbye Bethesda,

From a formerly loyal fan

What.

It IS being released on PC/PS3. The patch notes for 1.7 inadvertently confirmed that.
