PCPS3 RELEASE DATE SAGA PART 9

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 6:56 am

Saw that the previous post has been locked, so I figured, "What the hell? I'm pissed at Bethesda, I might as well voice it."

This is a little ridiculous, at least release information on whether or not it will ever be released, if so, when. We all payed a whopping 60 dollars, same as the people on xbox. I was upset when I heard that xbox would be getting it 30 days ahead of time, I thought "big deal", but now that they are saying that it could never come (mind the "could").The worse part is the lack of communication from Bethesda to their paying customers, all of the sudden coming out and saying, "Oh and by the way, PS3 and PC users wont be getting the DLC any time soon." (On the day people were expecting it to release!). For years Bethesda has been my number one favorite game developer ever. I love Fallout 3 and New Vegas equally (yes I know that New Vegas was not directly developed by Bethesda). Oblivion was some of the most fun I ever had (Did anyone catch my username? It comes from the random NPC , "Dewey Decimal" in the Bruma test cell, accessible via deleting the Wizard's Tower DLC while your character is still inside it). I also had loads of fun in Morrowind and Skyrim has been fun, but now? I don't know Bethesda, I am seriously considering not purchasing another Bethesda made game if this is how I will be treated...

But take the advice of what everyone else is saying, do not panic! ** Yet it's okay if you do a little! (like I am, but I really think Bethesda needs to see the mistake they have made, and hopefully learn from it) **

Respond if you share my rage.

I'm responding, and I do not share your rage.

What people are failing to see here, is that there is a reason why Dawnguard hasn't been announced yet.

- It's more beneficial to sales if they advertise it first, which they cannot do when there's a "non-disclosure clause" regarding other systems in an exclusivity deal.

- They are probably basing this port of Dawnguard off of the 1.7 patch, which means they need time to see how it affects our systems. The Xbox crowd, for better or worse, was a beta tester for 30 days.
