I bought hearthfire cause it really got my attention, adopted two children into my home in Whiterun.. Lucia from Whiterun, and Runa from the Orphanage..

Now.. Runa turned out to be such a little brat! I dont know what i should to with that child!

Beth did a little miss, saying "Things are so much better now when Grelod is dead, but am still sick of this place". She has been living with me for 2 days (ingame days).
I think they should have removed that line and replaced it once the child is actually adopted..

weird. have had Runa as a daughter since hearthfire came out on the PC... she never once mentioned Grelod. Maybe because I killed Grelod without having talked to the boy in Windhelm.

I've never heard of that happening before. Runa's actually supposed to be one of the more charming adoptees. So I think it may be a bug.

Hmm so you can adobt orphans from Honorhall by just killing Grelod? (Not from Aventus quest that is)

Afraid not. Constance won't calm down after Grelod dies until you've talked to Aventus. You can:

1. Adopt a different kid from the street.
2. Do the DB questline out to the scene in the shack (either resolution). But you do not have to go further.
