I am just lmao and tickled. I had a situation I was kind of waiting for, but never experienced before. Now, I am 28th level at this point, but I wear non-magical elven armor, and carry an elven greatsword that does a whopping 12 extra damage points. I do have a Staff of Fireballs , because even though I have a good elven bow, I (me in rt) am not fast or accurate enough with it for those pesky flying beasties. I have not started any of the big quests, so don't have much in the way of Shouts. Anyway, on to what has me tickled.....

I was out in the rocks nearer the road than my house, (Heljarchen Hall) in the morning, (was the only one outside at the time) mining a corundum vein, when I hear and feel the swish of wings and get a nice coating of frost just that fast! Yikes! I don't handle them well on my own, it's dicey at best unless they stay on the ground, but when do dragons cooperate that way? I hightailed it towards the house and had to squeal when I saw all 3 of my guys, Vorstag, Gregor, and Golldir on that dragon's case with their bows, all hollering at it at the same time! I got there and equipped my staff and between us the dragon was toast!! LOL I loved it!! it was WAY Fun!!

It reminds me of the first time i messed with giants except mine didn't turn out well. I went to the giant camp outside Whiterun and was trying to "hunt" them with my bow. All i did was piss it off, and it chased me back to town where i thought once i made it inside the outside wall with all the guards i'd be safe *i was only a lvl 10 or 12*. Except the giant came in there and ended up squishing me. Not 1 guard tried to help. Not 1 arrow, or even a guard leaving his post. Thanks guys for the help Needless to say i didn't mess with giants for the longest time after that.

This is my third character, I have played 100's of hours with the previous two, but this one I am playing completely different. It's gratifying that I am enjoying Skyrim more than ever before. There is still so much to find and fun to be had! *grin*

I still don't like giants, I have been sent flying too many times, and I am ever so grateful that Bethesda played the kill cams when it happened! LOL


And for those who think 'big deal'......Yeah, my first two characters were bada$$es as fast as I could make them, but I chose to go a different route this time around, and I am having a blast.

Yea that was my first character when the game first came out. Pretty much anything bigger than me, i ran away from. It drove my husband nuts. Now however im all Bring IT!!! lol

And yes i love the fact that even now im still finding all kinds of new things, and seeing random encounters and trying new things. Love this game.

One of my fave epic moments involved a giant. My Khajiit snuck up on one and planted his war axe in it. Did 12x damage, and the giant keeled over dead with one hit. I'd never one-shotted anything that tough before.

That was awesome the first time I did it too!!

Then his mammoths stomped me while I was gloating.
