What would there be to update, they would have had the DLC finished ages ago if they were testing it, now they just need to fix the problem that ruins it for some, that would be a modification of the main game most likely. When they fix it you will know, because the DlC will be available. Till then they are still working on the problem.

And there is already a thread for discussion on this topic.

I think he meant Dawnguard.

Actually he said Hearthfire, he already has Dawnstar as part of the main game, so I suppose he probably meant Dawnguard, either way he is waiting for anything extra till Bethesda fix the problem, and we all know they are never that quick at fixing problems.

I would just say make the switch to xbox, thats what I did, right as of now you can get a skyrim holiday bundle, skyrim and a racing game with the 250 hard drive xbox, I did this and after selling my ps3 skyrim, oblivion and fallout newvegas special edition and the racing game that came in the bundle along with two other ps3 games I did not like, I ended up with a 250 xbox with skyrim and both add ons, plus oblivion and all its add on that do not come with the game of the year edition, plus fallout newvegas which I bought new using the 20 $ gift card that came with the bundle, and only spent about 5$ on after reselling the ps3 one and long story short I only spent about 270$ and I still have over 2000 xbox point left over for the next dlc.
also after having experinced a ps3 and comparing it to the Xbox, well the xbox is much better especially graphic wise, the ps3 is very bland compared to xbox when it comes to picture quality. also xbox is more supportive of bethesda games.

I've been a PS user since the days of the PS2. Not changing.

I have a PC, so if I was going to get Skyrim for another system it would be that. But it's unlikely, since I'd have to do new characters. I want HF for my existing ones.

I think you mean Dawnguard not Dawnstar. But as for the DLC situation, it is rumored that the next update will fix the problems and bring DLC to Playstation. The update is currently in beta on Steam, so maybe another week or so until its on consoles.

Good. I just rented 'Dishonored'. If I like it, I want to be able to get it. But if there's no Skyrim DLC for PS3, I can't buy any new Bethesda title on principle.
