Can't rename objects in Cell View with 1.6 CK

The previous CK's allowed me to change/rename the object references in the Cell View window. The area below "CellName Objects" and the filter. I have to right-click and then edit each reference to change the ID. For example I add a CraftingAlchemyWorkbench to the cell and in the Cell View window it has a default ID of "CraftingAlchemyWorkbench *". I do the slow double-click on it to rename and it acts like it's going to work (I change it to: "MyIndoorCraftingAlchemyWorkbenchRef"), but when I hit enter or select another object, it goes back to "CraftingAlchemyWorkbench *".

Does anyone know if it's possible to make it so things can be renamed in the Cell View? Thinking about reverting to 1.4 somehow because I have too much stuff to rename and it's a lot slower going when each reference has to be right-clicked and then edit and then ok.

unfortunately, that's the reality. hopefully they will fix this in the next update.

however, reverting to an older CK might be worse off depending on the complexity of your mod

Shucks :/

I think I would have to uninstall/reinstall to revert if it's even possible. I'm just messing with basic stuff really, nothing changed in my plugin beteen the ck updates as far as I can tell.

Well, at least I know I didn't hit a key on accident and turn something on/off.

if you uninstall and reinstall via steam, it will only download and install the latest version. reverting to an older version is only possible through system restore in Win7 afaik

Even if you could revert, it's not a good idea to mix and match the 1.6 version of the game with a 1.5 Creation Kit.

I've been hoping somebody from Beth would take pity on us and give out the line to add to the ini to turn this back on. It really looks like it should be fixable in the ini. You can still edit the ID but the edtts just don't stick, and it still works for all of the other ID entries (none of which are nearly as useful).

It would be nice if they would publish a listing of all of the possible settings.
