Or do they reset after a certain period of time?

I store all kinds of stuff at Lakeview and I haven't lost anything yet but I don't think I have been gone for 10 days at a time. One thing I have noticed (or maybe it's just my imagination) but everything in Skyrim seems to reset faster since I got HF.

I think the chest that has your materials delivered to it would respawn. I have not tried to store anything in that chest. This is out by the workbench.

However, any chest that is in the home should be safe.

New patches and content can sometimes reset all the scripts that generate random encounters and such. It can even sometimes give you a multiple spawn battle right after loading the game up post patch. Those are always fun.

I love the fact that the gardens grow so fast. The one in Riften used to take forever. Now everytime I go It's grown back.So has the one at Lakeview.

I've been using it since I got the DLC, they seem pretty safe to me, I used it to store the mats for building everything including iron ingots and goat horns and stuff, they never dissapeared and after I was done I cleaned out the chest and its stayed empty ever since, so I'm pretty sure their safe.

They don't reset.

Ever.

Assuming it was possible, you could store the body of a Jarl in there without every having to worry about getting caught.

The garden don't use normal respawn but an script. It was an very good idea as a garden who require you to be away 10 days don't work well.

They should have used that script on the apiary as well.

I'll go for that, if you put Grelod in to keep her company!
