Ps3 Dawngaurd Beta

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 3:25 pm

I dont know why beth hasnt thought of this yet but..

Why not start an open beta, like the 360?

OBVIOUSLY theres problems, we get that, OBVIOUSLY you dont want to ruin the content, I GET THAT!

But to the people who would like to help get this problem fixed and get dawngaurd to the public, and are WILLing to take the risks that come with beta testing, why not?

Because it seems that "Beta" was more about promoting and hyping the DLC, rather than actually ironing out the issues, considering most of the Beta testers said that Bethesda didn't address the problems they reported. Can't really build the hype after it's been out for more than a month on other platforms.

So i was told as well. Im not a rager (beth take your time) but this really annoys me. Ive been a beta tester (non-profit) for many games, mostly Newgrounds, and ive helped to get amazing titles playable and bug free. Im actually working one Madness Retaliation 2 by RevloverRoach at this very moment, and to say that a beta for a game as big as skyrim to be purely "hype" is irrational. FFS it doesnt need any more hype, if you dont know skyrim by now, well.. FUS RO DAH!

They only needed one beta testing group, the version finished first got fan tested, not the last version finished. I have doubts the PS3 players are going to get to beta test anything to do with Elder Scroll games if that version is always going to be last out the door. But it would be nice, for everyone to get a chance to beta test something. Not that that many Xbox 360 players got to beta test Dawnguard anyway.

they dont care. they'll still get our money and take their sweet time "fixing" things that dont need to be fixed, and making other things worse, like they always do.

i have no more faith in Bethesda.
