Why, oh why, didn't I adopt Sofie?

2. It doesn't address the sticky issue that Constance probably knows that you murdered Grelod.

What--? Oh come on, now! When you offed the old hag, you were wearing a mask...

Your welcome...[for clearing your anxiety about her ratting on you]

For those who do adopt Sofie: be sure to check the number of baskets she has for sale BEFORE you start the adoption dialogue, and make sure you BUY THE BASKETS. The poor thing is so overloaded with baskets that she will be unable to accept any gifts you try to give her. Talk about adding insult to injury.

When I finally get Hearthfire, she'll sleep in a cozy bed in Proudspire Manor. And so will Blaise. My Dunmer Archmage/Bard/Thane of Solitude will see to that.
I love Proudspire for the security reasons of being in a well fortified town, the prestige of having one of the biggest manors in the town as a Thane, and the fact the girls would have other children as playmates. There's also that mysterious bloke that's always hanging around the vicinity of that door that leads outside from the cellar. I've yet to figure out if this is a TG member or not. If he is, his constant surveillance of the TG master mansion is quite disconcerting

But on the flip side, Proudspire is way smaller than the DLC homes, somewhat buggy (vanilla version) and lacks the scenic appeal of Lakeview or the rustic charm of HH. It's also extremely dark.

I ended up having to drag tables and decorate them with candles to provide sufficient lighting throughout the manor.

But I'm glad I adopted Sophie. She's definitely one of the sweetest, most agreeable kids in the game  Regardless of what home she lives in, she's never complained about the cold or surroundings/environment the house is in.

An alternative way to help Ms. Sofie, for the RPer...
1. Buy all her flowers.
2. Pay with something amazingly valuable.
3. Figure Sofie is now seriously loaded, and can afford a suite at Candlehearth Hall for the next few months.

Am I the only one who cracked up after reading that? (give me a break...I've got a dark sense of humor...I also rescue animals and do all sorts of other nice things in real life, so NEEEAH!)

I've adopted her two or three times I think, and always bought her out before sealing the deal...excuse me, I tried to buy her out, but that's impossible, due to her body's infestation of parasitic creatures that reproduce at an incredibly fast rate and look just like flower baskets...seriously, buy all 100+ or whatever, then talk to her again and she'll immediately have 40+, AT LEAST.

Kinda weird to think about those brats, I mean sweeet little angels, having an inventory for some reason...
