setting up 3ds max 2013 for Skyrim

I am a student entitled to 3ds max 2013 64 bit. how should I set it up in order to do some graphics modifications for skyrim?

well, with 3ds I'd say weapons first and foremost, armor afterwards.

There are no NIF plugins for 2013. Download the 2012 version too. Students can get previous years as well.

you dont need the nif pluggin at least not for weapons, i use 2013 and i just export as obj than turn it into a nif with nifscope
