Hearthfire is making me evil

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 4:54 pm

Never before have I killed Barbas. Annoying as he might be, I am not into that kind of thing. But just now I decided I really wanted to put that axe on display in one of my houses. It looks so much cooler than that helmet and is easier to display. So goodbye Barbas!

Now my thougts are turning to the Mace of Molag Bal. I never have liked that quest and generally avoid starting it. But now I am seriously thinking that Mace would look sweet displayed on the same shield plaque as the Rueful Axe. Call it my wall of shame. (I have the axe displayed on the shield plaque in the back room of the ground floor.)

At least I did resist the urge to kill Silus and Erandur. But a daedric dog and a daedric cultist? Goners!

Hearthfire, what have you done to me?!

You dare trap the mighty mace of the Lord of Domination, the Harvester of Souls, Molag Bal in
a petty display case so you can marvel before it!?

Your soul shall be forfeit for this in the name of the Hated One, as sure as the evil that slumbers
in Molag Bal's dark and cold heart!

P.s.
The Rueful Axe doesn't look cooler than the Masque of Clavicus Vile at all...

That Staff of Corruption is a dead loss as a display item anyway, it sits on everything sideways, so you cannot admire it.

That's probably Vaermina's way of laughing at you behind your back.

(Actually, she'd enter your dreams and tear your mind to bleeding shreds, but it's easier to implement a wonky staff in-game. They knew we'd suffer more that way.)

My assassin displays deadra and human hearts in the entry hall display case muahahahahaha Well, she's single and has no kids, so there! LOL Not a family friendly home, I must say. And yea, Molag Bal's mace makes a very nice addition to any Armory. :D

That Molag whatever quest is nasty. Personally, I think there are far less repellent ways of getting decorations for your home.
