Problem renaming Cells with an Alias

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 4:39 pm

I wish to rename a given cell so that it reflects the players' in-game name. In theory this can be achieved via clever implementation of Alias', thus far however, I have had zero success in the matter. :wallbash:
Below is a link to a screenshot which gives you a good idea of what I'm trying to do. Assume I know nothing, I am quite new to the Creation Kit and have not modded since Oblivion (to be fair I consider myself quite adept with the old construction set).

At the end of the day all I really want to do is include the player name in a cell(s) name so if that can be done another way I'm all ears.

Yet another bump. Am I to understand it is impossible to feature the name of the Player Character in a cell name?

You may not like the answer but I assume is impossible.
The reference alias window has a field "Display Name" where you need to link a Message object which should look like the string you put there and also has a checkbox "Uses stored text" which is related to text replacement. Location alias misses both those unfortunately.
A desperate attempt may be to try force a location into a normal reference alias, but I doubt it will work.
PS: for text replacement example you can check my House Inventory Book mod but it renames references not locations, it includes script sources.
