Something that need to change

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 5:33 am

Before you think I'm here to complain, dont, as I'm not. I beta tested, and the one major thing that wasent a problem with DG's operation but a pain in the ass for gameplay was the freakin vampire invasion of all towns. On my current playthrough, half of Skyrim is now dead due to vampire 3 man hit squads wiping out the towns before I can stop them. This, in my humble opinion, is something that NEEDS to change. This is game breaking, as I cant even enter a town without quest failures popping up due to my presence making the hit squads to spawn on the other side of the city and I cant get to them fast enough.
My current character is level 72 with max War skills and 100 enchant. I have full dragon bone with each armor piece having 2 enchantents on them, and my DB sword does around 168dmg with 40p fire and 40p life drain. And these three vampires are tougher to kill than a freakin revered dragon. If these vamps have to be there, than make them weaker to where the town people can at least have a chance. Their murdering everyone, and breaking the game. If this cant be fixed or changed, I'm debating on taking DG off. I cant play when half my misc quest markers lead to dead bodies and the towns like Karthwasten, Dragon Bridge, Riverwood and most other larger towns like Dawnstar and Whiterun etc, are all ghost towns. PLEASE FIX THIS.

I never really found this Game breaking to me. The guard seemed to handle it well enough. I usually got there, and the only thing I'd notice is that Talos hadn't answered my prayer of having Nazeem die.

Sweet baby Jesus THANKS FOR THE SPOILERS.
Spoilers? Nothing here is a spoiler as most already new about the new dragons before the beta and the vamp invasion is something that happens once Dg is installed.

The vamps are overpowered. On one playthrough, my guy was only level 5 and was facing vamp nightmasters and stalkers who were wiping out Whiterun or Morthal.

I didn't know about the vamp invasion, that would have been cool to see happen. Now I know it's coming. Thanks a lot.

.... Its not really an invasion... Its part of the new system added by DG. More attack's and spawns, etc. But for me the spawns are always in the cities, and as spawns are randomized, they spawn all over the city.

I never had any vampire invasions until at least level ten. Strange.

Get over yourself.

I really hope this is fixed before this DLC is launched on PC/PS3 because these vampire attacks sound terrible for gameplay.

They hit me at level 9. And some people did die. It's an RPG and sh...um stuff happens. It happens inside cities so if it's that big of an issue for some. Then just reload.

Fixed that for you. It really doesn't take much intelligence to discern whether or not plot points should go in the SPOILERS forum. If I had been in the spoilers forum at the time I'd have no-one to blame but myself. I'm only in here now to set you straight son. :)
