Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 2:35 pm

If i try to load a character in the open world i get teleported to the sleeping giants inn and if i try to leave i just keep geting teleported back. I can load characters in main citys but if i try to leave the city i get teleported back into the city after the loading screen. I have the load order corectly,i have tried to verify integrity, i have even uninstall skyrim and reinstall it but i still cant get it to work. Is there anyone who know a solution to thise problem?

Mods are not compatible with Dawnguard at this time. You will have to wait until the mod maker updates a mod to make it compatible with DG and 1.7 In the mean time remove all mods from the games data folder and try again.

But svcks for me cause that means I don't have dawnguard so I guess I'd really be no help here...

I didn't notice him say anything about mods, and the better vampire mod seemed to work fine with dawnguard from what I heard so that statement I don't think is 100% accurate.

The OP does say he has the "load order" correct...that can only mean he is using mods on pc

It doesnt matter "what you heard", my statement is fact. Anyone who makes mods knows you almost always have to update the mod to keep it compatible every time a game is updated and when DLC is released. Using mods with newely released DLC is a rookie mistake.

I thought load order simply meant when he was loading what file lol

Dude on every thread you have a bit of an attitude problem, tone it down a bit. Be a little open minded you know?

The phrase "it doesn't matter 'what you heard'" sounds a bit, condescending?

And my words on that mod specifically came from the modder himself, saying he had a dawnguard version and a basic version so that everyone could have something.

So I think that SOME mods work, which is what I was saying.

When I say I didn't notice, I mean I didn't notice. Just correct it without sounding high and mighty. On the other threads you have a bit of a "you're wrong I'm right feel" and it seems to be stirring people up.

I have only had a few minor bugs in dawnguard. When I installed the DLC, I had 41 mods active. Last I checked, most of the ones I run were updated around the 5th.

Which is what I stated. They need updating to DG and 1.7, those that are updated should OK to use but with no gaurantee's (as with all mods). Though if the game breaks or something goes wrong its the mods at fault not the title.

As for the way I post, frankly I couldnt care less if I upset people. I am posting within the rules of the forum and abide by them. Dont like my post, dont read.

Kind of hard to know whether or not I'd like the post if I don't read it. As how that started I was fine but the end it became unpleasant again...

With an attitude like that i'd imagine some issues but whatever.

Just ignore him. Cocky people like this usually leave or get removed with time. For as long as I have been on the net you see them come and go. The ignore function on some boards is great too. Helps.
