Vampire heavy armor?

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 2:32 pm

Just wondering if there is any vampire heavy armor out there? I know there's light armor but since I'm building a character in preparation for the DLC (since I'm a ps3 user ??) I was wondering if I should work on increasing my characters light or heavy armor. I'm really leaning towards heavy armor so..... Thoughts?

But there is "Wolf Armor" you can get while on the Companions Questline, which is Heavy Armor. So I think it is like:

Vamp VS Wolf
Light VS Heavy

This is no longer the case

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Werewolves

Armor rating in Beast Form is affected by their skill level in http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Light_Armor and all five ranks of the Light Armor perk Agile Defender.
  • As of patch 1.3.10, this is no longer true and Beast Form has 0 base armor. This may or may not be intended; it has not been mentioned in the patch notes.
  • However, (also as of 1.3.10) you do count as Unarmored for the purposes of the Mage Armor perk.
    • If you have http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Dawnguard installed, this is not longer the case and werewolfs do again have armor rating, which however is no longer affected by any perk. The armor rating is 0 at level 1 and then increasing in 50 point intervals every fifth level, beginning at level 11. The maximum rating is 400 at level 46.

So either case, it is no longer affected by light armor
