I created a bookshelf with 16 markers. The problem is when I go to load the shelf with a book I get a message saying I can’t load anymore books onto the shelf. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

I just want to update this thread: I got the shelf working, but still have a problem with it. Everytime I remove a book it (the book) will vanish. It's not on the shelf or in my inventory. I did read about a bookshelf glitch that causes that, so I'm not sure how to fix this. Still looking for help with this if anyone has any ideas...

I had this problem after creating, testing, and successfully using many bookshelves in my own various mods. One day they just completely stopped working.
I could not find a work around and it seemed that noone else on the forums had experienced the problem. It was suggested I integrate the following mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10891 which I have now done and all my shelves are back in perfect working order.

Thanks for the link. It looks very interesting. I would hate to release a mod without working shelves, but with so many related glitches I just might have to. I have been doing a lot of internet research and discovered that the bookshelves are loaded with all sorts of problems. And I have yet to fully understand way Bethesda took away the “drag and drop” ability for shelves and tables. Seems rather stupid if you ask me.
