Few creation kit questions.

So I have been using creation kit for a few days and have hit a few snags in my mod idea. I currently have a Perk Overhaul type mod that I am making that started out as simply separating Melee and Ranged in the sneak tree. As time went on I have expanded to modifying other trees and creating new and, what I consider, interesting perks. I have hit two snags though and have already made a post in the Skyrim Nexus forums about one of them. I have come here hoping that anyone can assist me.

My first snag is this. I am trying to make an ability that triggers whenever you block an attack with a shield. So for example, if you block an incoming physical melee/ranged attack with a shield you fire and forget "x" spell. I have toyed around for hours now and have even done a google search but yielded no results for what I am trying to find.

My second snag is that I want to add unarmed perks to the One Handed skill tree, which in it of itself is not the issue. The issue is that I cant seem to figure out how to associate Unarmed attacks with the One Handed tree or get them to give experience towards a perk tree. So I guess what I am asking is how do I associate unarmed attacks with a perk tree and modify how much experience towards said tree is given with each attack.

Any help I can get with these two problems I have encountered will be much appreciated.

From what I understand, the experience gained in skills, and the actions required to advance a skill, are hard-coded and cannot (currently) be changed.

That's a bummer. Hopefully they change it to allow us more flexibility in the future. Thanks for the answer to that question~ One question down, one to go~
