Point of the Soul Cairn Reaper? : V

I found the 3 reaper shards, placed them in the stand, and the Reaper attacked.. i killed him and thats it... no good loot on him, i thought that portal in the middle of the room would open up...

Surely this isnt it? Whats the point it, what am i missing? :0

That's it. It's just a fun little boss fight for us. We do get some black soul gems for it though.

still haven't found that 3rd shard... :/ bout ready to look up where it is, but I want to find it myself.

It appears to be nothing, but we may have missed something.

I think all the secrets of the expansion have not been found yet.

Just this morning someone found a special crown on a skeleton that all us beta testers missed.

I just got SUPER looky...

I remember the last one i found was in a chest, under a huge soul gem in an open sort of area, but still next to a temple thing...
The two others i think i also found in chests somewhere..

My suggestion would be to just look in all chests you find xD

*me cough* And I found that ages ago during the beta. I just didn't post anything about it. I didn't want to get anyones hopes up. So I waited until now to mention it.

Glad some new players got some surprises.

as for the crown... apparently it only lets you salvage the gems off of it. I still need to go back to the Hidden Vale and get it.

On the way up the stairs as the end of the bridge leading to the inner sanctum theres a section of land you can jump off on to. Just look on the bridge for one of those crumbled arch way things with pillars.

Just incase,

I didnt have to go in any temple that had door bars to find any shards, either that or i found a way into certain temples without unlocking the door

(I know because ive only just found out how to unlock said doors xD)

EDIT: Scratch that.. the last one i found did have bars guarding it, but i went around, didn't realise there were any bar doors..

You mean in the Soul Cairn prison temple thing (its name escapes me), where you fight Durnehviir?
