Pretty much. When you're doing character creation and choosing eyes, look at the difference between Humans/Mer and the Beast Races. They have 2 different eye texture sets. Basically, the glowing eyes were not put as set of their textures. As a vampire, the eye textures for beast and human are separate as well. They didn't include glowing eyes for the Beast Races as all as it would have been a different texture set. Now I'm not sure why they chose to do this but someone stated above that it is intended. Perhaps it's supposed to show that the Beast Races are still not quite human and therefore won't look the same as a Vampire.
I don't care what excuse there is, I think it's unacceptable.
The only reason I wanted to become a vampire was because of the glowing orange eyes that are advertised everywhere. They're a staple, an icon and they encapsulate what Dawnguard is all about. I'm seriously upset, my character is vain and is all about looks, I couldn't stand the vanilla vampires and after reading that they were overhauled, I had high hopes about finally becoming one. Then we learn that they look the exact same and you don't even get the eyes to boot.
Just, urg...
