Beat Durnehviir.. unlocked his shout. Got to Tamriel and it doesn't work.. I read that there is a bug saying that if you unlock it right away it won't work. So I re-did the entire Soul Cairn portion, and it still doesn't work. He starts to say the shout, then stops. Tried everything. Am I not allowed to use it yet? Anyone got a solution?

Has to be outside a city, with a large open area.

you have summon him 3 times to get all 3 words.

As he said. Also looking at the ground aswell. He works like a conjuration spell. So you need to summon him near your character in a wide open space.

@Descified I've tried in a lot of different spots to no avail.. no clue what the deal is.

Okay, I posted this many times in the beta, but there is a good chance it hasn't been fixed.

Summon Durnehviir works like any Conjuration spell, and therefore it succumbs to the bug that Conjuration spells do. Spell Absorption, such as The Atronach Stone or perks will absorb the summon entirely.

AH! I feel like a fool.. I kept looking at the sky to do it. No idea it worked like a conjuration spell, thought it was the same as the "Call Dragon" shout. Thanks a lot guys.
