The new perk trees

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 3:01 pm

So... Dawnguard adds the vampire and werewolf perk trees. I've been very excited about that since I've heard about it - it could mean it's possible for mods to add new perk trees.

Now that it's out, has anyone already checked how did Bethesda implement the new perk trees in the addon? Is it possible to do in a mod? Or was it hardcoded in the patch? (I REALLY hope this is not the case...)
I can't even buy Dawnguard because it's unavailable in my country (but that's a discussion for another thread), so I can't look around the CK at all.

I'm kind of surprised there's no active thread about it (at least I couldn't find any).

You can modify the perk tree via the CK, however I haven't played around with whether you can access the perk tree via an alternate method other than hitting TAB in Vampire Lord form.

Check out my thread: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1401055-the-vampire-lord-workshop-what-dowe-you-know-so-far/

I tried explaining how the perk tree works and I'm trying to collect as much info on how to edit it as I can. The perk tree is governed by a script of which we don'T have the source code yet. Meaning we can't modify it yet...
