It's Done

I'm upset, angry, and disappointed. This is hardly the first time Bethesda has clearly not given much of a crap about PS3 users, but I never thought this would happen with such a huge industry changing title like Skyrim. This game was important to a lot of people and it brought so many new fans to the series and the company. Kiss all of that goodbye. I am seeing so many people online saying they are never going to buy a Bethesda game again. If only half of them stay true to that claim, then it should be noticable. Yeah, you guys can say that the majority of Bethesda's fans are on PC or Xbox, and of course that's true, but some people have standards. It's not just PS3 users upset over this, it's people in general. Because in this day and age you can't just do something like this. You can't go two months without saying anything but "it's not ready", and then throw "we might not be able to do it" at us, and then try to blame Sony. And stop saying "well we are working on other DLC too" like it excuses it. That makes it WORSE. Stop working on other DLC and get your act together. You can't give your fans the middle finger like this.

I've gone on such an adventure with my character, my Dragonborn. I've spent 230 hours in Skyrim. 230 hours of my life. I was promised DLC on the back of the box, I paid for this game full price and I deserve to be treated like a customer. The 30 Day Xbox Exclusive deal was a slap in the face already, as if we're not worth it to you, as if you'd rather have the Microsoft money than your artistic integrity as a business and your fans' respect. But then you tell us we won't get DLC at all? You tell us that PS3 users just have to live with it? After making us wait how long for Update 1.6? It hurts me to say this, but I can no longer enjoy playing Skyrim. Everytime I do it leaves a bad taste in my mouth now. 230 hours of my life wasted. I hope you enjoy the fans you have left, I'm never buying another Bethesda product again. I'm going to go sell Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Skyrim tomorrow. I'll sell Morrowind on the internet, since Gamestop won't accept games that old.

Goodbye, Bethesda. Hopefully you realize that spitting in the face of your fans is a bad idea in the future.

It's over. I've sold my Bethesda games and bought a game from a company that actually supports everyone equally.

This is my final post on this board, so you are all rid of me now.

cool story bro.

In truth, I feel for you, but I'm pretty sure Bethesda would of liked to have released the DLC on all platforms as early as possible, but tech issues keep getting in the way.
