Canon Dragonborn's equipment

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 8:08 pm

I am sorry, if this kind of topic has been posted earlier.
I am making another canon play-through so I just wanted to get some tips from people who have done this.
Now I am wearing hide boots and hide bracers, iron helmet and studded armour, using steel sword.
My 1H is 50 and about 30 light armour. I think about using iron banded shield but I am afraid of it slowing me down.
Any tips? Feel free to take your time - I am busy watching LOTR.
:tes:

EDIT. Stop killing my post people, and elves of course, and don't forget the khajiit and the argonians. And in no special order.
But seriously, I am interested in more tips.

What do you mean "canon" Dragonborn? Do you know what that word means? It means its in the lore. Where in the lore does it say the Dragonborn masquerades in only iron armor? You're mistaking what they show is in press releases and trailers for it being canon.

Yes, we know there is no canon in TES. It's a world that's constantly susceptible to time warps and Dragon Breaks and all possibilities are true and false at the same time. I'm sure he said canon because it was easier.

I wasn't trying to be smart; that's not in the lore.

Create your own Dragonborn, dude. That would be pretty much more satisfying.

Aww, you guys know what he means. I play a Dunmer mage myself but c'mon.

I'd say the one you have is good but go with the banded iron shield. It's "canon" and they are way more useful than you think.

What is so hard about reading what I asked? I have played plenty of original characters.
