I've heard that someone found a crown of some sort, (and multiple confirmations so i know its true) does anyone know the location of said crown?

I think you mean Aetherium Crown which has nothing to do with the Soul Cairn

... to be honest i have no idea, i just saw yesterday that someone had found a crown which the Beta testers missed, which wasnt lootable but its gems were, and they were talking about it on a Soul Cairn thread, so i sort of assumed... :/

No he was talking about a metal circle around the head of a skeleton in the Forgotten Vale

Drake, what metal circle in the Vale? I remember a couple or 3 skeletons in the Vale, but not a metal circle.

Not sure, he mentioned he could not activate or take it so idk

The person in question had said something about jumping off of the steps at Auriel's Temple (he didn't say which side) and under an arch (or something like that) there is a skeleton half-buried in the snow with a crown/circlet around its head. He had said that he tried everything he could think of, but couldn't get the crown off, all he could do was loot the gems from the crown.

It sounds kind of... strange to me. I wonder if anyone else can confirm the reality of this?

Wonder if this is the crown/helm that we looked for and looked for and looked for to match you know what.

That's the speculation, but as far as I've read on these Forums, if anyone else has found said skeleton with bling, they're not telling.

Just found the skeleton, nothing special. It's off to the left of the bridge just before you enter the temple courtyard, by an intact archway.
