Scripts not working

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 12:26 pm

I'm currently working on a mod with another person, and I hit create files, then I send him the plugin, xxxxxxxxx.bsa and xxxxxxxxxx.bsl, but on his editor the scripts don't show up. When he opens a scripted dialogue of my quest it says that it couldn't load the script. The .bsa and .bsl are placed on the data folder along with the plugin. Any clue on why this isn't working?
PD: I also tried to put the files on the main folder, with the same result.

Unlike TESV.exe, the CK does not auto load BSAs by virtue of their nomenclature, thus Dawnguard.bsa has to be added to one's sResourceArchiveList2 in order for the contents to load even if Dawnguard.ESM is loading. Your teammate will have to extract the BSA to their Data directory to access/edit the scripts. You might want to just pass a version with loose files back and forth and quit using BSAs until it's ready for release.

BSL: You'll not need it, nor will team members.
