I am curious if the game setting iProjectileMaxRefCount is just the max number of static arrows or spell projectiles (ice spike) that can be physically stuck in things before they start to disappear, or if there is a limit on how many ACTIVE projectiles can be displayed?
Imagine an army of say 50 mages, all casting spells. The game default for the above value is 15. Does that mean that only 15 of the spells being cast will show up?
If the above setting doesn't limit active projectiles, is there any limit? If so what controls it?
