Iv had a good look online for a solution to this problem, im pretty stuck.

I run Skyrim on PC, yesterday i bought the Dawnguard Expansion and was loving life as a Vampire Lord, Than all of a sudden it all went wrong....

So at the moment, Im a Vampire Lord, but im using Human Spells, I have no Health Bar (as in, i cant die. Iv tried jumping from the highest cliff nothing happens) I cant turn back to Human, I cant open my favourites menu to select Revert and like i said, my Skyrim THINKS it is a Human but really its a Vamp Lord atm. People in Towns think im Human, I have unlimited amounts of Stamina, but if i try to change spells than i run around crippled. Unfortunately i have no Save directly before i turned. The last save before being glitched is 8 levels below.

Any ideas? haha

I should probably also mention that i am running no mods.

Well dawnguard came with it's fair share of bugs with or without mods.

The show race menu will essentially give you the option to pick and recreate your character again if you didn't know.

I'd assume it would work, but you may run into issue again if you try the vampire lord form again?

Ok just got home and tried what you said mate,

It causes skyrim to crash lol.

i thought it would be good to be immortal and do quests and stuff but i cant fit through a lot of doors.. lol it freezes when i feed as well..

Have you try to become werewolf than transformer into werewolf?

I believe once you become a vampire lord it removes the wereworlf buff?

Ok so i just did SetPlayerRace 00013743 and that worked, but now in the castle people say they cant believe i turned back into a human. So now i cant use Vampire Lord?

anyone else have any thoughts on a fix?

I can't offer a fix, but my advice is to save often in the future.

Try what the other guy said. If you've completed the companions quest line and NEVER plan to be a werewolf again, go to Aela, have her turn you into a werewolf, then transform and wait for it to time out.

Afterwards, go to serana or harkon and have them change you into a vampire again.

Save before hand of course since this may not work either.

I do save a lot, problem is i quick save and the last hard save i had was about 10 levels before. oh well thanks anyway guys ill just start again probs. haha

Werewolf and Vampire lord will replace each other. You can change from vampire lord to werewolf than werewolf to vampire lord.

but you only get 2 chances at werewolf, first chance through companions.

If you managed to become mortal again you can become a vampire again by speaking with either Harkon or Serena. Both of which will turn you again. Try this and if the problem happens again then it appears your Dawnguard is glitched, try to uninstall and then reinstall Dawnguard.
