Beast race vampire eyes?

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 3:45 pm

Just wanted to ask. Will beast races vampire versions get glowing eyes, like the rest of the races? Or is it intentional that they are left out?

I think its a bug. In fact a lot of races are bugged. Seems like beth loves bugginess when it comes to vampirism. Wrong eyes, dirty face, no fangs for females, red eye colors, beast races not getting the glowy eyes :glare: .

I pray to Odin that is a bug and not intentional that they left out beast race vampire glowing eyes in the dawnguard DLC we paid for... its pretty misleading and ratchet... if they had let me know that beast races weren't getting the glowing eyes like the poster they promoted before hand I actually wouldn't have brought it.

Especially with it adding [censored] like Vampires taking out people in towns that are already barely populated and even in the smaller villages.. its pretty ratshyt to be honest ae..

Khajiits get special eyes, not necessarily glowing. They like, have almost no pupil. Just a line in the center.

Perhaps it was intentional for Beth to not give beast race vamps glowing eyes. Maybe there is a lore reason for that. After all, beast race eyes are different the the eyes of Man or Elf. It could be that difference which causes the eyes to not glow.

Personally i don't mind not having glowing eyes for the beast race vamps. I do like playing a vamp whose eyes don't glow, who also doesn't have a wrinkly face.

Also it makes roleplaying a vampire who is not noticed by people, of its true nature, easier. For example, say i play an Argonian who is a vamp. There are not alot of Argonians in Skyrim, and im sure less that are vampires. Therefore its likley in this time of vampire attacks, that the "common man" has not see an Argonian vamp. It is more likley that they would see Man or Elf vampires, who do have glowing eyes. However if said Argonian vamp had glowing eyes just like the Man or Elf vamps, this unusual feature may raise red flags for people, exspecially for people who have already seen Men or Elf vamps, and therefore notice the glowing eyes connection.

Also not having glowing eyes, means that i don't have to have a beast race vamp wear a mask (like a dragon mask). Which i normally do now because it makes sense roleplaying wise to hide your glowing eyes in villeges when people walk about, if you are a Man or Elf vamp.

Some eye choices just give me one vampire eye and one normal...

The bugged Vampire faces give the Vampire's character.

From what I understand, the Nords don't even get the glowing eyes as advertised for Dawnguard. The Nords get glowing versions of the old eyes instead of the orange ones I think I've read.

Actually on my nord I get Serana's eyes, a slightly glowing orange/amber color eyes.

As something like imperial, I get Harkons flashlight yellow eyes.

Doesn't make sense though seeing how they're both Nords, just something random implemented I guess...?

While the Imperials originated from Nords, they changed quite a bit genetically from living in the gentle green fields.

I'm an Argonian, and when I became a vampire my eyes got slit-pupils.
