How do you work the staff? Does it only work in dwarven ruins?

It works anywhere, I believe. Just point and shoot.

;-; Stupid me should've picked the crown...normally I'd never wear one and so I picked the staff for lulz, but now it'd go real nice with my Ancient Falmer...

The staff shows no effect when I use it I chose it because I thought it would be cool and I don't use shields and wayshrines offten for the other two

But the crown is SO overpowered. You can use it to use the once a day powers of the stones as much as you want. It is SUCH a good item. And the shield can come in great use, as well.

Hold the trigger for a moment to charge the staff, then shoot it at the ground near you. It should have a particle effect similar to the Elder Scroll time rift, and then either a Spider or Sphere will appear.

I have tried it in external and internal cell dwarven ruins caves ect. I cast it like a normal summon staff hold down the trigger then aim at the ground near you it makes a wosh sound then nothing. Maybe it suffering from the twin soul/ elemental potoncey glich sanguine rose had
